RENTWEAR PRIVACY POLICY Effective Date: 16/09/2026 Website: rentwear.online Welcome to Rentwear, a fashion rental platform owned and operated by Dedicated Taskers. This Privacy Policy explains how Dedicated Taskers collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you access or use the Rentwear platform, including renting items, listing items as a Lender, and related collection, delivery and return services. "Dedicated Taskers", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the business operating Rentwear. "Rentwear" refers to the fashion rental platform and related service operated by Dedicated Taskers. By accessing Rentwear, creating an account, listing an Item, confirming a booking or otherwise using the service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT Account information: a password, and an anonymous member reference code (for example RW-4F2A9) that we generate for you at sign-up. We do not collect your name, phone number or email address. Your member code is the only identifier used on the platform and on your garments. Profile information: information you choose to add to your profile, such as your city or profile photo. Listing information: descriptions, sizes, photos, pricing and availability details for Items you list or enquire about. Booking and transaction information: bookings, rental periods, payments, deposits, cancellations, returns and related records. Communications: messages sent between Renters, Lenders and Dedicated Taskers through the platform, and correspondence with our support team. Stylist requests: the event, size, style and budget details you submit to the AI Stylist, and the suggestions returned to you. Usage and device information: pages visited, features used, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type and device information, collected to keep the platform secure and improve the service. Verification information: identity or transaction verification details requested for higher-value rentals or fraud prevention, where applicable. 2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use personal information to: - operate the Rentwear platform and provide the rental service; - create and manage accounts and profiles; - process bookings, payments, deposits, refunds and payouts; - enable communication between Renters, Lenders and Dedicated Taskers; - arrange collections, deliveries and returns through Taskers or couriers; - verify identities and prevent fraud, theft and misuse; - respond to enquiries, disputes and support requests; - personalise and improve the platform, including AI Stylist suggestions; - comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations; and - enforce our Terms of Use and policies. We do not sell your personal information. 3. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING We process personal information on the following bases: - to perform our contract with you (operating your account, bookings and rentals); - to comply with legal obligations; - for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the platform; and - where required, with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. 4. SHARING OF INFORMATION We share personal information only as needed to operate the service: - with the other party to a booking (for example, a Renter's first name and collection details shared with a Lender, and vice versa) to arrange handover; - with Taskers, couriers and delivery partners, limited to the details needed for collection, delivery and return; - with payment processors to handle payments, deposits and refunds; - with service providers who host, secure or support the platform, bound by confidentiality obligations; - with advisors, insurers or authorities where required to investigate fraud, theft, damage or disputes, or to comply with the law; and - with a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy. Where Dedicated Taskers owns or controls an Item offered for rental, transaction details are processed by us as the rental provider. 5. AI FEATURES Our AI Stylist processes the event details, sizes and budget you submit, together with information about Items currently available on the platform, to suggest outfit combinations. Suggestions are generated automatically. The items recommended reflect live availability and pricing at the time of the request. Do not include sensitive personal information (such as health details) in your stylist requests. 6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS Your information may be processed by service providers located outside Zimbabwe. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is protected to a standard comparable to this Policy and applicable Zimbabwean data-protection requirements. 7. DATA RETENTION We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations. Booking, payment and dispute records may be retained after an account is closed where required by law or to protect our legitimate interests. Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised. 8. YOUR RIGHTS Subject to applicable law, you may request: - access to the personal information we hold about you; - correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; - deletion of information that is no longer required; - restriction of or objection to certain processing; and - a record of the information you provided, where technically feasible. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand how the platform is used and keep it secure. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect how the platform works. 10. SECURITY We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit and role-based permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify affected users and relevant authorities of any data breach as required by applicable law. 11. CHILDREN Rentwear is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we hold such information, we will delete it. 12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform or by email. Continued use of Rentwear after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. 13.
